Our Achievements
Since the vision/mission statement of the school is to provide world class quality education and the development of a total child to face future challenges, it is therefore not surprising that the school has recorded notable achievements in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains that have earned the school various awards.
- Produced the Best pupils in the Cross River State 2005 National Common Entrance Examination.
- Award of Academic Excellence/Recognition from the Department of Education and Research Council (Africa/USA).
- 1st position in Macmillan Team work competition – 2009
- Certificate of Honour for participating in the Children's Day Annual show by the South-South Youth Reform Theatre.
- Dramatic Excellent Award during the drama Festival organized by Global Fund for Women, San Francisco, USA.
- Produced the best performing pupils (Girls) at the 2011 National Common Entrance Examination (1st and 2nd Position).
- 1st position in Macmillan Team work competition – 2012.
- Produced the Best students in the Cross River State 2012 Federal Common Entrance Examination (God's Grace children took from 1st – 8th position).
- Produced the best pupil in the 2014 National Common EntranceExamination 2nd Round (Girls).
- Produced the best students in Cross River State in 2009, 2011 and 2013 national Mathematics competition.
- Produced the Best students in the 2nd round 2015 Federal Common Entrance Examination.
- Produced second in the National Mathematics competition by NTIC in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
- Produced first and third position at the first stage of the Annual Mathematics competition organized by NTIC in 2017.
- Produced the best pupil in National Mathematics in the State and National level during the first stage of the 2017 Annual Mathematics competition by NTIC.
- Produced 1st, 3rd and 5th Position in Mathematics in the State and National level during the first stage of the 2019 Annual Mathematics competition.
- Produced the 1st and 5th position at the State level: at the 17th (2020) Annual Mathematics Competition (AMNC) organized by the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC).
- Produced the First, Second and Third position at the state level at the 2022 Annual Mathematics Competition organized by the Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN).
- Chandelle US Mathematical Olympiad and Chandelle English. Pupils and Students of GGIS and GGIHS made the school proud as they were selected based on their outstanding performance in Mathematics, English and Poetry to contest and receive prizes respectively in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
